On Saturday March 5th, I, Kayla Seigelstein hosted a Nomalicious Luncheon for some fellow jews! The reason it is titled, “Nomalicious” is simply because the food was beyond incredible and it was all gone before everyone left. 20 people fit in my cozy apartment that Saturday morning as friends were able to catch up and people met new friends as well. Everyone had great energy as we first went around the table, introducing ourselves and explaining what we were looking forward to during Spring Break. The prayers were led by different people and everyone joined in and sang along. When it was time to eat, the lox was the greatest hit. Followed by the banana bread, pecan pie, and baklava of course! We spent almost three hours talking around the table until people began to leave. It was a great success and everyone left with a smile and a full stomach. Until next time!
