Towson Hillel has been on Towson University campus since 1997. Hillel student leaders, professionals and lay leaders are dedicated to creating a pluralistic, welcoming and inclusive environment for Jewish college students, where they are encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually and socially. Hillel helps students find a balance in being distinctively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world) and Jewish learning, and to support Israel and global Jewish peoplehood. Hillel is committed to excellence, innovation, accountability and results.
“Many high school students and parents/family members are on social media asking their peers for insight into the Jewish life experience at colleges around the country. Beside what people can find on websites, there is not a fun, captivating, and easy resource for families to learn about the Jewish life experience on many campuses. I want to help change that!”
In this video, Dana interviews Lisa Bodziner, Executive Director of TU Hillel. Lisa shares details about the Jewish life experience on TU Hillel’s campus. You can learn more about Dana Ponsky and her work by clicking here.
