TOWSON HILLEL IS BOOMING!
Towson University is growing exponentially and so is the number of Jewish students attending and living in the Towson area which has increased 5% over the last three years. It’s predicted that by 2025 there will be 2,000 Jewish students on campus! 90% remain in the Baltimore metro area after graduation.
We have a matching challenge grant of $50,000 established with the generosity and vision of Becky Brenner and the Ronnie H. and Allie Russel Charitable Foundation!

We are preparing
for the future by moving into new space in the middle of the commercial center of Towson, a revolutionary move for a revolutionary time. Convenient to campus, work, dorms, retail and nightlife—our flexible new space will provide a central spot for Hillel programs of all kinds; and a place for the Towson Jewish community to gather, too!
Your investment in us is an investment in our students and alumni as they explore their relationship with Jewish traditions, family, memory, Israel, and community. Many, upon graduation will stay within the Baltimore area and become the next generation of leaders, donors and community members. We can’t do it without you!

TU Hillel
is on the ground inspiring, leading, cultivating, renewing, teaching and engaging thousands of students as they grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally—connecting them more intimately with Jewish tradition, culture, community and Israel.
Centrally located in downtown Towson, the space is easily accessible by foot from campus and has the added benefit of off-street parking and full-time security. It will provide: a full kitchen, a large multi-purpose room that can accommodate 100+ for meals, services, programs, game tables such as ping-pong and foosball, comfortable workspaces, chairs, and sofas, spaces perfect for studying or hanging out with friends, private offices for learning and Hillel planning meetings and a conference room for large educational seminars or meetings.
