The Baltimore Hebrew Institute (formerly Baltimore Hebrew University) at Towson University , is committed to supporting the education of Jewish educators, communal professionals and Judaic studies scholars who wish to excel in their chosen fields.
We provide outstanding opportunities for post-baccalaureate certificates (Jewish Communal Service and Jewish Education) and degrees in Leadership in Jewish Education and Communal Service and Jewish Studies in a vibrant, cohesive community.
We offer generous scholarships and work with each student to custom tailor a program that meets their goals.
At BHI we provide community enrichment in ways that engage and welcome all who are interested. BHI offers engaging non-degree courses(including Modern Hebrew Language instruction), lectures and trips that provide opportunities for adults to deepen their understanding of Jewish and Israeli culture, history, and current events.
