We are so excited that summer is here and hope the everyone is enjoying soaking in the sun, spending time with friends and family, and looking back at another great year at Towson University!
Things sure are quiet around campus without you, and as we close out the 2014-2015 school year, we can’t help but think about the great things we as a community accomplished together.
Among many highlights, we sent a group of students to Israel over winter break, and had a group travel to Jamaica to volunteer and spend time with the locals at the Westmorland Parish.
At Passover we joined together as a Hillel family to celebrate together at the seders and meals. We outdid ourselves with a successful shoe drive where we collected over 750 pairs of shoes to be donated through Soles for Souls. There were so many great initiatives, all led and supported by students – that is something to really be proud of!
Though no one wants summer to pass by quickly, we can’t wait for you all to return to campus to begin another successful school year together. Until then, we will be keeping you in the Hillel loop with newsletters and updates throughout the summer.
